Synopsis

To commemorate the 20 year anniversary of the fall of the Berlin wall, 24h Berlin is an ambitious multi media project that celebrates the past through the present in Europe’s most exciting city. 70 of the country’s most talented directors working with 80 camera crews have filmed over 600 hours of footage over the course of one day creating a kaleidoscopic, living, mega-portrait of the city and it’s people. The project is truly interactive, allowing anyone in Berlin to contribute through the website. 24h Berlin will air over an uninterrupted 24 hours on the 5th September as well as a 90 minute version on the anniversary day of the 9th November in simultaneous broadcasts all over the world.
