1980s post-'ET' children's adventure. Wheelchair-bound hero Jade Calegory (Eric Cruise) befriends an alien which has become separated from its family. However, in Los Angeles there are so many good things that soon `Mac' has no desire to phone home. The film was famously criticised on release for its numerous well-placed coke cans and scenes in a famous burger store.
