On the eve of Pearl Harbor, the lives of servicemen and women unravel on a Hawaiian military base. New arrival Private Robert E Lee Pruitt clashes with company commander Captain Dana Holmes, who just happens to be the boxing coach and is charged with turning Pruitt into a man. Meanwhile, Holmes's bored wife Karen seeks gratification in the arms of Sergeant Milton Warden.
