Roger Mason, aka 'The Spoiler', has been imprisoned in the Beta Galaxy for a crime he did not commit. After escaping from several prisons, only to be recaptured, he is incarcerated in 'The Icebox', a unit that keeps its inmates cryogenically frozen, whilst the world and their loved ones grow older around them. Desperate to be reunited with his family, Mason makes one last bid for freedom.
