M. Night Shyamalan directs this live-action adaptation of the animated Nickelodeon TV series 'Avatar: The Last Airbender'. When Aang (Noah Ringer) discovers that he is the last successor in a long line of Avatars, he must lay aside his childhood ways and do all he can to bring peace and harmony to a war-torn world. Joining forces with Waterbender Katara (Nicola Peltz) and her brother Sokka (Jackson Rathbone), Aang harnesses his newfound powers to manipulate the four elements and foil the attempts of the Fire Nation to conquer and enslave the Water, Earth and Air nations.
