A video store worker (Kevin Dillon) becomes suspicious of a new and extremely popular rental cassette entitled `Remote Control'. He soon discovers that the tape hypnotises viewers and causes them to become violent - all part of the grand plan of the outer-space aliens who manufacture the cassettes.
