A triple bill of erotic dramas. In '9½ Weeks' Kim Basinger plays a divorced art gallery assistant who finds herself drawn into an obsessive sexual relationship with a compelling Wall Street broker (Mickey Rourke). At first the relationship is stimulating and exciting, but as their sex games become increasingly perverse she begins to fear for her sanity. Directed by Adrian Lyne ('Indecent Proposal', 'Fatal Attraction'). 'Showgirls' is Paul Verhoeven's attempt to couple the softcore sex film with the Hollywood musical which stars Elizabeth Berkley as a Las Vegas stripper who lap-dances her way to the city's most prestigious chorus line. Vying with the show's established star for the leading role in a new erotic spectacular, Berkley gives the director (Kyle MacLachlan) a close-up demonstration of what she can do. Dave Stewart of Eurythmics provides the music for the steamy dance routines. Whilst in 'Body of Evidence' a millionaire dies while engaged in sado-masochistic sex with his mistress (Madonna) and she is accused of murdering him with her over-developed sexual desires. Lawyer Frank Dulaney (William Dafoe) takes her case, but also becomes involved with her, a dangerous position to be in when his faith in her innocence is shaken.
