Synopsis

Biographical drama directed by Fergus O'Brien and starring Daniel Mays and Richard Gadd. Peter Wildeblood (Mays) was one of the first people in Britain to publicly declare their homosexuality. Living in a time when homosexuality was illegal, Wildeblood and his partner of 21 months, Eddie McNally (Gadd), nevertheless refused to conceal their relationship and were imprisoned for their love. Their imprisonment, along with the punishment of many others for their sexuality, gradually became a catalyst for the crucial reform of UK law to decriminalise private acts of homosexuality.
