Synopsis

Bulgarian drama following the adventures of a young hitchhiker and the mysterious girl he meets on the road who invents various identities for them. Kamen (Ovanes Torosian), a young art student, is upset at the death of his friend and sets out to hitchhike from Sofia to Ruse in order to attend his funeral. On the way he meets Avé (Angela Nedialkova), a 17-year-old girl who claims that she is on the way to see a sick relative. Kamen is naturally startled when Avé tells the driver who stops to offer them a lift a completely fantastical story about herself and Kamen. It is the beginning of a series of lies and assumed identities with which Avé steers them around the country. Kamen finds himself falling more and more in love with the endlessly inventive girl but who is she, really?
