Documentary which tells the story of B.B. King's rise to fame, gaining his title of the 'King of the Blues'. Filmmaker, Jon Brewer worked closely with King himself and amassed over 250 hours of footage which would become this documentary, narrated by Morgan Freeman. The film also features contributions from a host of celebrities such as Bruce Willis and Eric Clapton. Although born in a tumultuous period of US history, King battled with racism growing up but went on to turn his life around and found success with his unique style of playing the blues. This footage provides a unique insight into the life and influence of King with help from the people who admire him the most.
