Ensemble comedy set against the backdrop of the contemporary London art world. Art dealer and gallery owner Art Spindle (Danny Huston) is desperate to acquire 'Boogie-Woogie', a Mondrian painting he covets above all others. Its owners, the ailing Alfred Rhinegold (Christopher Lee) and his wife Alfreda (Joanna Lumley), do all they can to raise the price by courting rival bidders including collector Bob Maclestone (Stellan Skarsgard). A whirlwind of wheeling, dealing and bed-hopping ensues as lives and careers are made and broken. The supporting cast includes Gillian Anderson, Charlotte Rampling, Amanda Seyfried, Heather Graham, Alan Cumming and Jaime Winstone.
