Synopsis

Family adventure about a young boy called Josh (Noah Centineo) and his dog Bosco who are having the best summer of their lives until they discover they are about to lose their home. Without the ability to compete against the new shopping centre which is about to be built, Josh's father (Jonathan Aube) is forced to close his shop and the family move in with Grandma. Unfortunately, there is no room for poor Bosco. However, when Bosco is digging he uncovers a golden medallion and a map which Josh realises are pieces from the local legend about a secret treasure trove. Determined to save the town from destruction, Josh, along with Bosco and his friend Ana (Courtney Biggs), goes in search of the treasure. But the boy and his dog will have to get there before Wade (Steve Guttenberg) and Scarecrow (Curtis Armstrong), a pair of villainous oafs, get their greedy hands on it.
