Synopsis

Documentary about the life and career of American dance pioneer Anna Halprin. Halprin's resolute belief in the power of dance to teach, heal and inspire people at all stages of life helped to redefine society's notion of modern dance. The film includes interviews with Halprin's associates and counterparts, including the late Merce Cunningham, as well as extensive performance footage old and new.
