Double bill of British comedies from the 1930s. In 'Lost in the Legion' (1934), two ship's cooks Bill (Leslie Fuller) and Alf (Hal Gordon) end up joining the foreign legion after being washed ashore. Herbert Brenon directs 'The Dominant Sex' (1937) in which Dick Shale (Phillips Holmes) might have bitten off more than he can chew with his free-spirited new wife Angela (Diana Churchill).
