In the Spring of 1970, poet Charles Bukowski packed his overnight bag and took a plane ride to Washington to read at Bellevue Community College. This reading was videotaped in black and white by two students and the film lay forgotten for 18 years. Although technically shaky the film captures Bukowski at his best.
