Using archive film footage from World War Two, this documentary tells the story of the Canadian Force's role in the liberation of occupied Europe. Featuring the Canadian Army's march into occupied Netherlands and Belgium, and the troops' capture of enemy ground in Germany, the film also shows Mackenzie King's 1945 re-election and the Canadian Navy's role in the Pacific.
