Documentary about a high school poetry group in New Mexico. After encouraging his students to speak out about the war in Iraq in 2003, Bill Nevins was fired from his job at the Rio Rancho High School where he taught. Believing this to be an attack on their freedom of speech and an act of gross injustice, the students and other creative members of the community joined forces to create the 'Poetic Justice' movement which fought against the state's attempts to silence them.
