Film that tells the purportedly true story of Neale Donald Walsch (Henry Czerny). After unexpectedly breaking his neck in a car accident and losing his job, Walsch becomes a homeless bum struggling just to stay alive. The movie takes the viewer through his emotional battle to get enough food, make friends and regain his life. Just when things seem to be going his way, they get worse. Feeling like a complete failure, Walsch asks God a pile of demanding questions. Much to his apparent surprise, he receives his answers. The 'conversations' Walsch had with his creator were published in book form and sold over seven million copies in 36 languages.
