Synopsis

The Australian Ballet perform Léo Delibes' 'Coppelia', with Marius Petipa and Enrico Cecchetti revising the original choreography of Arthur Saint-Léon. The story tells of toymaker and magician Dr Coppelius' attempts to bring his doll, Coppelia, to life. However, the michievous Swanilda tricks the doctor, substituting herself for the doll in an attempt to save her lover, Franz, from Coppelius' magic. Lisa Pavane and Greg Horsman star.
