Documentary telling the story of the legal battle between tens of thousands of Ecuadorian residents living in and around the Amazon jungle and oil giant Texaco. In 1993 the Ecuadorians, represented by lawyer Pablo Fajardo, filed a lawsuit against Texaco (now Chevron) for their hazardous practices while drilling for oil, which resulted in widespread contamination. Meanwhile the corporate lawyers acting for Chevron claimed that there was no contamination, and even if there was, it was not their fault but that of the Ecuadorian company Petro-Ecuador.
