Dementia Film Poster

Noir horror written and directed by John Parker. Narrated throughout but with no dialogue at all, the film follows a psychotic young woman's nightmarish experiences during the course of one skid-row night, including encounters with an abusive husband, a violent drunk, a pimp and the rich man he panders for, and flashbacks to her traumatic childhood. The film was banned in the US and the UK when first released, before finally being released in 1970 with an 'X' cert.

Contains moderate violence and horror.
