Synopsis

Elia Suleiman's black comedy that also highlights the mood of the escalating conflict in the Middle East. The central character (played by Suleiman) cares for his ailing father in Jerusalem while conducting an affair with a Palestinian woman. They can only meet at Israeli checkpoints and at each meeting various comic encounters ensue against the backdrop of the Israeli/Arab conflict.
