Horror in which a teenage outcast with medical ambitions decides to perform a risky operation on her sister. Pauline (AnnaLynne McCord) is very much a loner and an outsider. Not only does she struggle to make friends among her peer group, but her parents, Phyllis (Traci Lords) and Bob (Roger Bart), are at the end of their tether with her. The only person with whom Pauline gets along is her sister, Grace (Ariel Winter), who suffers from cystic fibrosis. Terrified at the prospect of losing her only friend and sensing an opportunity to earn approval from her parents, Pauline considers trying her hand at the dangerous operation that could save Grace's life. Will she succeed?
