Frantz Fanon: Black Skin, White Mask Film Poster

Feature documenting the work of Frantz Fanon. Afro-French psychiatrist Fanon (Colin Salmon) was heavily involved in anti-colonial movements throughout his life; in his native Martinique, Algeria and throughout the world as he grew increasingly frustrated with the oppression of black people. Despite fighting with the French resistance in the Second World War, after qualifying as a psychiatrist and moving to Algeria, Fanon joined the battle to free the African country from French rule, continuing to do so when he was later exiled to Tunisia. This is an account of his life's work, documented in interviews, archival footage and dramatic reconstructions of key events.
