Triple-bill starring George Clooney. In 'The Peacemaker' (1997), after a train collision in Russia results in a nuclear explosion, a number of warheads are smuggled out of the country by rogue soldier Alexsander Kodoroff (Aleksandr Baluyev). Assigned to track them down are scientist Julia Kelly (Nicole Kidman) and brash military agent Colonel Thomas Devoe (Clooney). Despite a clash of styles, the pair are soon attracted to each other as they race against time to recover the nuclear warheads. 'Out of Sight' (1998) is an adaptation of the Elmore Leonard crime novel. Bank robber Jack Foley (Clooney) is forced to kidnap federal agent Karen Sisco (Jennifer Lopez) while breaking out of prison. The two feel a strong sexual attraction for each other, but Karen still takes the opportunity to escape when it arises. Jack teams up with his old partner, Buddy (Ving Rhames), and they plan one last job together in Detroit. Intending to rob the mansion of millionaire Richard Ripley (Albert Brooks), the duo still have Karen on their tail, and also face competition from ex-con Glenn Michaels (Steve Zahn) and the psychopathic Maurice 'Snoopy' Miller (Don Cheadle). Finally, 'Intolerable Cruelty' (2003) sees Clooney play Miles Massey, a divorce lawyer who always wins his case until he comes head to head with the scheming, money-grabbing, yet alluring, Mrs Marilyn Rexroth (Catherine Zeta-Jones). Miles and Marilyn each embark on their own ruthless romantic missions to outdo one another and amass great wealth. Sparks fly in this battle-of-the-sexes comedy.
