Synopsis

Regarded as one of Fellini's most accessible films, the film concerns the reunion of a pair of old dancers for a TV show. Before the war they were a successful cabaret team, performing respectful tributes to their Hollywood counterparts. A TV chat show arranges the reunion and their old magic returns, despite the years past and the changing world. Fellini uses the opportunity to sarcastically attack the crass commercialism of television.
