Box set containing three popular thriller movies. In 'Going Off Big Time' (2000), while serving a four-year sentence, Mark Clayton (Neil Fitzmaurice) makes friends with Ozzi (Dominic Carter), and together they plan to form a gang and take over the city's underworld. Through a combination of scams engineered by Mark the gang becomes hugely successful, but Ozzi's violent and uncontrollable temper threatens to blow their cover. In 'Hard Men' (1997), debt collectors Tone (Vincent Regan), Bear (Ros Boatman) and Speed (Lee Ross) enjoy their work for boss Pops Den (Frankie Fraser), until Tone's ex-girlfriend reappears and informs him that he has become a father. He decides to retire, but Pops orders Bear and Speed to murder Tone and bring him his severed hand as proof. The pair decide to delay the execution, and go out for one last night on the town with their colleague. During this spree they manage to accidentally murder one of Pop's best clients, and end up brawling with a pair of transvestites. Finally, in 'Traffic' (2000), in late Seventies New York, FBI agent Joe Pistone (Johnny Depp) has to go undercover to infiltrate the Mafia as 'Donnie Brasco'. He befriends ageing hitman Lefty Ruggerio (Al Pacino), who inducts him into the ways of the Mob. As Brasco, Pistone becomes immersed in the Mafia world of violence, but at the same time comes to regard Lefty as a friend. He knows that when his assignment is over and his cover blown, it will mean certain death for the man who has taken him under his wing.
