1980s drama directed by Paolo and Vittorio Taviani. In 1913 two brothers, Nicoza and Andrea (Vincent Spano and Joaquim de Almeida) work as facade restorers with their father in Tuscany. When their father sells the business, the brothers go to America to seek their fortunes. After many trials, their craftmanship is finally put to use working on the sets for D.W. Griffith (Charles Dance)'s film 'Intolerance'.
