Hannah Hauxwell is a unique and somewhat unlikely celebrity who won a place in the hearts of millions after appearing in a Yorkshire Television documentary about the plight of farmers in the Dales. She had lived all her life on an isolated farm in abject poverty, with no electricity or running water. Having never ventured beyond the shores of Great Britain, Hannah, now well-known by the public, set forth on a grand tour of Europe in May 1991 - becoming the archetypal 'innocent abroad'. She visited France, Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Italy - with an ITV crew along for the ride to capture her naive yet essentially wise view of Europe. Includes all six episodes in the series.
