Thriller about the fight against homophobia in suburban America. Young gay couple Robbie Levinson and Trey McCoy (Seth Peterson and Brian J. Smith) find their quiet suburban life thrown into chaos when homophobe Chris Boyd (Chad Donella), the son of a fundamentalist preacher, moves in next door. While walking his dog one night, Trey is brutally attacked and lapses into a coma. Convinced that Chris is responsible, Robbie contacts the police, but is met by a wall of indifference and prejudice in the shape of Detective Esposito (Giancarlo Esposito). Disillusioned with the lack of support from the legal system, Robbie, and Trey's mother Barbara (Cindy Pickett), hatch a daring plan to bring the assailant to justice, incidentally exposing many secrets the community would rather keep buried.
