Classic British comedy starring northern genius Frank Randle. Holidays with Pay was Randle's fifth film for Mancunian and was made in 1948 at John E Blakeley's Manchester studios and on location in Blackpool. Frank Randle's family visits Blackpool for annual holidays but becomes embroiled in a murder plot and a haunted house. Randle's is in his prime and is supported by the comic talents of Dan Young, Tessie O'Shea and his real-life drinking partner, the Irish tenor, Josef Locke.
