Anj Mendoza (Bea Alonzo) is a talented self-learned cook who dreams of working in a high-end restaurant someday. But Anj’s lack of confidence pushes her to lower her expectations, settling on a humble food stall she established with her friends. Niño San Vicente (Gerald Anderson), on the other hand, is a determined and unpretentious sales agent who is bent on achieving stability in his life. On the night of Chinese New Year, these two starkly different personas meet, and their succeeding encounters bring them to falling in love, with each beginning to share simple dreams and goals in life. Through Niño’s love and encouragement, Anj begins to emerge from her reluctant persona, which leads to her gaining a spot on the esteemed kitchen team lead by famous chef Pocholo Padilla. But as Anj’s world expands as she is captivated by the successes it holds, Niño is stuck in his simple and unaspiring life. This takes a toll on their relationship as they begin to live in starkly different worlds. As both balance themselves between the changes in their worlds and the struggles of their relationships, the couple must answer the questions: Could their relationship survive if the reasons that made them fall in love are not the same reasons for them to go on anymore?
