Ian McShane narrates this documentary about post-war London from director Paul Kelly. Featuring rare, colour footage from the British Film Institute's National Archive, the film takes a look at the capital city from 1950 to 1980; from post-war optimism to the beginning of Margaret Thatcher's government. The music soundtrack is written by Saint Etienne's Pete Wiggs and performed by the band.
