Synopsis

Drama from film-maker Tina Gharavi following a sister and brother who embark on a journey of self-discovery when they are forced to leave their native Iran for a life in the north of England. When Nasrine (Micsha Sadeghi), a girl from a middle class Iranian home gets into trouble with the police in Tehran, she and her brother Ali (Shiraz Haq) find themselves having to flee the country at their father's request. Initially excited about their chance for a new life in the West, Nasrine and Ali's optimism is tested to the limit when, after arriving in a container lorry, they come face to face with the painful realities of immigrant life in 21st-century Britain.
