Inspector Gadget travels to the great cities of the Western world in these four episodes of the children's animated series. In Episode 1, Gadget goes to Rome where he takes in the sights such as the Boca della Verite, the Trevi Fountain, the Roman Forum and the Catacombs. In Episode 2, Gadget explores the exhibits at the Smithsonian Museum and the Museum of American History in Washington D.C. and New York City, including Foucault's pendulum and Edison's light bulb. The Inspector travels to Paris in Episode 3, where he explores such sights as the Eiffel Tower and the Notre Dame Cathedral. Finally, Episode 4 takes the Inpector to the thriving metropolis of New York City, where he visits the symbolic Statue of Liberty and the Empire State Building.
