Box set collection bringing together 17 of John Wayne's earliest films from the 1930s, from 'Riders of Destiny' (1933) where Wayne plays a desperate gunman, to 'Frontier Horizon' (1939), where he portrays a rancher ready to take up arms to protect his land against greedy property developers. These films starred Wayne just as he was about to make his 1939 breakout and become the archetypal figure of the Hollywood western.
