Henry King directs this 1950s adventure drama starring Tyrone Power and Terry Moore. Set in 1857, the story follows British Army Captain Alan King (Power) who, while stationed in India, meets opposition from his comrades when they realise that his mother was a Muslim. He is eventually put in charge of native cavalry and is tasked with negotiating with rebel leader Karram Khan (Guy Rolfe), who he knew as a child. Meanwhile, Alan becomes romantically involved with his superior officer's daughter Susan (Moore).
