Director Rigoberto Castaneda's Mexican horror/ghost story which re-tells the local legend of La Llorona. Twins Agata and Catalina Hameran (Iliana Fox) share a telepathic link that came into existence on the day their mother died a traumatic death. When Agata suffers injuries in a road accident on kilometre 31 of a lonely road, Catalina realises something is wrong. Although her sister remains in a coma, Catalina can still hear her screaming, as if she is trapped in a supernatural dimension. Determined to save her sister, Catalina uncovers a history of paranormal occurences on this stretch of road, and resolves to find the common link.
