Documentary portrait of America's most famous purveyor of pornography and his many First Amendment court battles over the past 30 years. An often polarising figure, Larry Flynt has long fought to expand the parameters of free speech and expose the hypocrisy of his country's elected leaders. He's spent more time in court than many lawyers and has even been incarcerated for his beliefs. The film follows him from his early days as a club owner through his years as the publisher of 'Hustler' magazine, and the assassination attempt that left him paralysed from the waist down, on to his present day activities as an outspoken campaigner against censorship.
