With her parents incapacitated, Chanda has to look after her younger siblings. The family are ostracised by the majority of the local residents who are wary of the circumstances surrounding their troubles. When her mother is sent away due to the fear aroused within the community, Chanda goes searching for her, determined to bring her home.
