A collection of four short films celebrating the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games, made by some of Britain's most talented directors. In 'The Odyssey', Asif Kapadia uses aerial images to chart London's journey from the awarding of the games in 2005 up until the 2012 Olympics. Mike Leigh's comedy 'A Running Jump' follows the exploits of a family of sporting enthusiasts from London's east end. Lynne Ramsay's 'Swimmer' follows a lone swimmer through Britain's waterways and coastline, accompanied by a soundtrack of seminal British music. Finally, Max and Dania's 'What If' celebrates youth culture via Rudyard Kipling, as a twelve-year-old-boy learns some valuable life lessons set against a backdrop of urban art and sports.
