Lost in Yonkers Film Poster

Two small Jewish boys, Jay and Arty, are horrified to find that following the death of their mother, their father owes a fortune to the medical companies. As a result the boys are shipped away to their cold-hearted Granny where they meet the beautiful Aunt Bella (Mercedes Ruehl) and Uncle Louie (Richard Dreyfuss), bagman for the mob and on the run with a stash of stolen cash. Director Martha Coolidge transfers Neil Simon's Pulitzer Prize-winning play from stage to screen with the usual quota of comedy and drama.
