Synopsis

Documentary telling the story of singer Louis Prima, the recording star and stage performer who helped pave the way for the likes of Tom Jones and Frank Sinatra and who later provided the voice for King Louie in Disney's 'The Jungle Book'. Includes a focus upon the many varied musical cultures which nurtured Prima's talent, such as the jazz scenes of New Orleans and New York and the early years of Las Vegas show culture.
