Bollywood fantasy. According to local legend, Makdee (Shabana Azmi) is an evil sorceress who turns children into animals if they stray into her villa. The village is abuzz with stories about the little boys and girls who walked into the witch's lair never to return, and even the bravest villagers tremble in terror at the very thought of entering her gates. Chunni (Shweta Prasad) is an adorable but bratty child who torments her twin sister and whose mischievous pranks are always getting her into trouble. Chunni's partner in crime is the psychotic butcher's adopted son, and when things get too hot Chunni impersonates her twin Munni (Prasad) to escape the consequences of her actions. One day Chunni's pranks lead to Munni being chased into the witch's villa, only for her to reappear as a hen. The stricken Chunni bravely confronts the witch who lays down a set of demands in exchange for her sister's return to human form. But in the meantime she must also protect her sister the hen from the sharp blade of the butcher's knife.
