Another two episodes from the 13-part American horror television series, featuring stand-alone films from some of the biggest names in horror. Don Coscarelli directs 'Incident On and Off a Mountain Road', based on the short story by Joe R. Lansdale. Ellen (Bree Turner) is driving along a deserted stretch of road late at night when she has an accident that leaves her stranded. Before long she is being hunted by a deformed backwoods maniac known as Moonface (John De Santis), but Ellen is not quite as helpless as she looks. With survivalist training courtesy of her ex-husband, Ellen has to try and turn the tables on the vicious psychopath hunting her if she has any chance of making it home alive. In 'Chocolate', written and directed by Mick Garris, lonely Jamie (Henry Thomas) works at an artificial flavours factory. One day he is assaulted by a series of vivid sensory impressions that seem to link him to a beautiful young woman. As Jamie experiences all the pleasure and pain of her existance, he has a murderous vision that leads him to think she might be in danger, forcing him to try and track her down before it's too late.
