Metamorphosis Film Poster

Horror in which a writer researching an ancient vampire legend comes closer to the events than may be safe. In 17th century Hungary, Countess Elizabeth Bathory (Adél Kováts) finds herself imprisoned in a monastery by Count Thurzo (Gábor Koncz), accused by the village locals of bathing in virgin blood. The present finds writer Keith (Corey Sevier), accompanied by friends J.J. (Charlie Hollway) and Kim (Jennifer Higham), researching the story of the Countess and searching for the monastery in which she was imprisoned. The trio stumble upon beautiful local Elizabeth (Irena A. Hoffman) who agrees to lead them there. As they approach the monastery and Keith falls for Elizabeth, the boundary between past and present blurs to the point where ancient vampire legends seem less like fanciful tales than deadly realities.
