Synopsis

Benedict Cumberbatch and Jonny Lee Miller alternate the lead roles of Dr.Frankenstein and the Creature in this award-winning production of Mary Shelley's gothic novel, recorded at the National Theatre in 2011. Directed by Oscar-winner Danny Boyle from the play by Nick Dear, the story follows Dr Frankenstein's monstrous creation, who, after being cast out and confronted by cruelty wherever he turns, attempts to track down and finally confront his creator.
