In 'Voice Without a Shadow' (1958) a journalist works with a former telephone operator to solve an unresolved homicide that has been haunting her for years. Will new revelations finally lead her to the killer? In 'Red Pier' (1958) Yûjirô Ishihara stars as expert assassin Jiro who, after arriving in Kobe from Tokyo, finds himself on the run, suspected of murdering a drug dealer and pursued by a local cop (Shirô Ôsaka). 'The Rambling Guitarist' (1959) follows wandering musician Shinji (Akira Kobayashi) as he takes up work with the mob. His life gets even more complicated when he falls for his boss' daughter Yuki (Ruriko Asaoka) and his loyalty to the Akitsu family is tested.
