Synopsis

An urban comedy starring Tim Robbins as a man demented by noise pollution who decides to get even. When he first moved to New York, David Owen (Robbins) thought he could handle the constant cacophony emanating from the city that never sleeps. But nowadays, the daily round of car alarms and the incessant thrum of traffic, coupled with his inability to stop it, has impelled him to act. Taking up arms in the guise of 'The Rectifier', David conducts a one-man vigilante campaign, vandalising those cars with errant car alarms, and quickly becoming an overnight folk hero to those who share his views.
