German existential drama starring Tom Schilling. Twenty-something slacker Niko (Schilling) lives in Berlin where he supports himself with the help of his father (Ulrich Noethen), who has yet to find out his son dropped out of his university course two years previously. He spends his days trawling the city streets for the perfect cup of coffee while contemplating the big questions in life. When all in one day he loses his girlfriend, his driver's licence and his father's allowance checks, he finds himself thrown with no means of sustenance. Can he finally grow up and begin taking responsibility for his life?
